About - Dixie Dot Crafts

Hi! Let me introduce myself...

I'm Tracey the owner of the Dixie Dot Craft Studio. I am a single Mum living with my Son and two ginger cats called Ziggy & Cooper. You'll often spot me in the studio as being the one with the crazy hair colour. I have a deep fondness for sunshine, cheesy pop music and Pimms.

More often called Dixie Dot than Tracey, I have a long-held passion for making and creating and crafting.

I've been running my sewing business since 2013 and have increasingly branched out into sharing my love for crafting by teaching workshops. I decided to open the studio so that I can bring likeminded people together to enjoy learning new skills or just spending time together to enjoy crafting in peace!

It's my mission to encourage all people, young and old, to embrace their creativity and make their world a beautiful place.

Dixie Dot Crafts opened in May 2017 in Quedgeley, and within weeks I realised that the community were thrilled to have me here. I needed a larger space to accommodate all my lovely new customers and so by Christmas I'd found a larger premises to be our new home. The studio moved a mile down the road to Kingsway in March 2018 and is three times the size of the old one!
